More than 100 supporters of Edward Woodard Jr., the former Bank of the Commonwealth president and CEO, have submitted letters to U.S. District Court Judge Raymond Jackson, who will sentence Woodard Wednesday.
"The Lord specializes in miracles," Woodard's mother, Catherine Woodard, wrote. "He will take care of our situation."
Woodard faces years in prison for his May conviction on 11 counts, including fraud and conspiracy. His co-defendants have already been sentenced.
